Thanks for this information. I have registered here: https://floridaqsoparty.org/counties/saturday-route/
I will operate as a CW only Expedition station for Saturday at our WPBARG event at John Prince Park. For those operating CW, the exchange will include “FQP” with the CQ and use “PAL” in the response as the required letters for Palm Beach County. I would encourage all other members who operate SSB or CW, who want to get involved in the Florida QSO Party, to just jump on in at our Saturday-in-the-Park.
I would also like to remind members coming to our fun event to FEED THE KITTY! Jo, N2QFT, very graciously provides the cool libations and toothsome bites at our event and there is a donation jar to help defray costs. If you have any spare change please consider donating but please wrap it in a one-dollar bill or better yet, a five-dollar bill, before dropping it in the donation jar so the noise doesn’t startle the birds and wildlife in the park.
See you there!

Randy, Thanks for clarifying the CQ FQP, the rules did not specify it.

I am intending to try "activating" (sending CQ FQP DE WB0ZJJ K) for an hour from our Saturday In The Park with a Gabil 7350 vertical mag mounted atop my car using the QMX, and perhaps will activate again Sunday from my back yard with the same antenna on a faraday cloth/baking pan on the ground if I have any success on Saturday.

My CW Callsign copy ability is limited to 10 - at most 15WPM which seems almost non-existent when I listen on the bands, but I am hoping I will snag a couple patient hunters.

I'm not into contests, but want to try out this new antenna as well as push against the fear a bit.
