On this solemn day we pause,
To honor the fallen who answered freedom’s call.
Brave souls who stood against the tide of war,
and gave their lives that liberty might endure.
We remember their courage, their final breath,
Their sacrifice that granted us this peace we hold.
May we never forget the purpose of this day—
To grieve the lost, give thanks, and recommit our hearts to this great country we call home.
