Now is the opportunity to sit for your Technician license or upgrade your current license. There is no longer any cost to take the exam. We absorb all costs associated with administering the FCC Amateur Radio exams.
We are accredited to administer all elements of the FCC Amateur Radio exams, and we do so every other month, on the first Saturday of the month, at the Cox Science Center in West Palm Beach.
Testing begins at 10:00 a.m.
Below are links with information on what to bring on Saturday, as well as an FAQ.Candidates must have an FRN number before sitting for the exam. See here – https://larc-vec.org/frn.php

From the east: Pass through the lights at Florida Mango. The entrance to the Lakeshore Plaza is on the right, immediately after Advance Auto Parts. If you miss the turn, just hang a right onto Prairie Road and turn into the plaza from there.
From the west: Go through the lights at Congress. Prairie Road is the first intersection past Phantom Fireworks (on the right). Turn left here and then right into the plaza, or take the next left turn directly into the Lakeshore Plaza (just before Advance Auto Parts).
Thank you, Brent. This is what we do after every test session, and we invite others to join us for food, fun, and fellowship at the Newport Diner.
