Monthly Meeting – September 23

Our monthly meeting, held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, will be Wednesday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m.

As we begin our Saturday in the Park season next month, we will be having a demonstration featuring a variety of go boxes, portable transceivers, antennas, batteries, carry cases, first-aid kits, and basically a variety of equipment that our members use for portable activity.

Guests are welcome to bring and present their own setups as well. If you're a visitor and would like to get some ideas of what folks are using and doing, come on down! If you're a visitor and would like to show us some of the stuff you're using, come on down!

As always, we welcome everyone who has an interest in what we do. Join us for our meetings and activities - members and non-members, whether licensed or not!

If you’re a new ham or thinking about getting your license, come on out and meet us! We can assist you with all aspects of getting your license and getting started in amateur radio.

If you’re a seasoned veteran, we have many experienced members engaged in all aspects of amateur radio. They share their knowledge through presentations at our meetings, along with special guests from the industry.

We also sponsor monthly outings during the cooler months, featuring portable operations, picnics, and get-togethers. Our culture is open and friendly, with a family-like team spirit, especially during club projects and events like Field Day.

If so, can you bring it?

I need to check the SWR curve on my Lindenblad, but my tools only work through 1.25m.
