The annual QRP To The Field (QRPTTF) takes place this Saturday, April 22, and encourages low power contacts from the home, backyard, or field using CW (5W) or SSB (10W). My plan is to operate portable from the field on 20 meters with CW and experimenting with an end fed half wave or setting up an end fed half-square antenna. My brother, KO4WTN, may join me on SSB on different bands (on or around 7030/7040, 7116, 14060, 21060, 28060 KHz) using his magnetic loop from the field.
