I received a call from Terry's office this afternoon to tell me he passed away at his home in Deland, FL.

I have known Terry since I became a ham almost thirty years ago. He was a good friend and supporter of our club.
Terry hosted our D-Star repeater at his office for over a decade, giving us a rent free location including a wifi hookup.

A Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday, the 11th, from 12 to 4 PM.
It is at the Redding home
1825 Glenwood Oaks Ln.
Deland, FL 32720

All are welcome.

Many long term members will remember Terry signing off as Wiskey 6 Lost My Job.

I didn't know Terry, but I knew of him through my membership in ASPB, where he shared stories, including his observatory dome at his property. I thought that was amazing. As I recall, he was a Vietnam era veteran. His QRZ page shows that he was engaged in many projects and fortunately enjoyed writing and documenting them.

I'm saddened to hear of his passing, and I wish comfort for his family and friends.

I too am saddened to hear of Terry's passing. He was a positive influence for all who heard him when he was local. A pleasure to chat with. He was somewhat a pioneer in "Distance Learning". Now days we just take for granted that a university will offer that. He was way ahead of his time. He worked hard and smart. I'm glad he had dark sky and time to ponder the wonder of the universe and its creation. He will be missed by all who knew him.
