Historic Tax Relief for Families & Businesses Signed Into Law

There's been some talk about the permanent removal of tax on certain disaster preparedness items, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. The bill that is now signed into law goes far beyond that, including specific health and safety items that will be tax-free, from smoke detectors to fire extinguishers and life vests to bicycle helmets, and more. Sales tax on admission to Florida state parks has been abolished. There's a lot more. Be mindful there are different start dates for some of these tax breaks, with some being permanent and some being seasonal. Additional information can be found at the Florida Senate:
