October 5 – 6, 2024, will be the ARRL’s Simulated Emergency Test (SET). The reporting forms are not currently available. The ARRL states when available they will be posted to their website on the Public Services/Field Services Forms page. The ARRL Southeastern Division and the South Florida Section have the option of participating in local exercises. At this time, no information has been released on that. CERT

Note: FEMA and the FCC did a Nationwide Emergency Alert Test last year, with a much greater participation success over 2021. There is not one planned for this year. Sources state they are working on one for next year. There are two components, the EAS for radios and televisions, and the WEA for consumer cellular phones.
