We are excited to be rolling this out, and this is just the beginning. As our site continues to develop there will be more interesting features for our membership.
We want to thank Marcos for his work in developing this site and his commitment to continue doing so and maintaining it. THANK YOU, MARCOS!
GigaParts and QRZ.com have partnered up to offer those who have received their amateur radio license in the last 30 day this deal. See https://www.qrz.com/jumpstart to apply.
The West Palm Beach Amateur Radio Group and the Fair Lawn Amateur Radio Club in Fair Lawn New Jersey have been discussing the possibility of partnering up as sister clubs. The FLARC sent us this proposal – FLARC Proposal 05-10-22
The membership of both clubs then voted on and approved this partnership, and we are excited about this joint venture!
As we began our association with the FLARC, we sent out a welcome letter to their club – Welcome Letter 07-24-22

On April 27th, Dov Gavish (4Z4DX) was our guest speaker, visiting from Israel. Spanning seven decades in amateur radio and over 700,000 QSOs, Dov provided us with a very interesting history of his experiences in ham radio to a full auditorium. If you’re a DXer, check your logs, you may have worked him!
Dov was joined by Julio (AD4Z) and Ez Prado (H13AA). We are grateful for the time and travel our guest speakers invested to visit us.
You can listen to a podcast here, where Dov was interviewed a few years ago – https://qsotoday.libsyn.com/size/5/?search=166
A Groups.io page has been set up for the club. This will allow members to interact with each other and share information, ideas, and questions. Additionally, we will be posting meeting minutes and announcements. Access the new site at https://groups.io/g/WPBARG
Note: As of September 1, 2022, we have decommissioned the groups.io page, and started discussions on our forums at https://wpbarg.com/phpbb/
The West Palm Beach Amateur Radio Group provides the March of Dimes with communications stations at every water stop and two or three “Victory Wagons” to carry those who just can’t walk any more to the finish line.
